Vivian Company recently finished a complete casework project for Striker’s, a new bowling and family entertainment center located in Jefferson City, MO. This facility offers 10 bowling lanes, a 42-game arcade with VR and sports simulators, complete with a full bar and restaurant.
Our team partnered with Striker’s to fabricate and install casework throughout the space. Housed in the former home of Capital Bowl, owners Mark Gerlach, Brian Bloomer, Brad Harrison and Scot Drinkard were able to completely transform this space that succumbed to extensive damage due a tornado in 2019.
We are happy to be a part of bringing their vision to a reality. From the moment you step foot in the doors, you are greeted with a welcoming, eye-catching, and functional front desk area. We constructed the check-in desk to be outfitted with solid surface transaction tops and a sequoia brown marble raised top with waterfall leg and angled slope. Additionally, the bowling shoe cubby shelving area was created with a black melamine surface. Taking that same material, we built a bowling pin collage wall with white LED accent lighting.
We also played an integral part in constructing the prize redemption store. We provided all the laminated casework and heavy-duty solid surface tops. Additionally, we crafted custom color-changing LED light boxes within the structure to illuminate the room.
Lastly, we designed a beautiful feature wall that displayed a depiction of the city skyline that was located in their VIP room. We used solid poplar wood planks on routed MDF panels that were stained to match PL-2 (Wilsonart Phantom ECRU) and used a gloss black recess to create a skyline look.
