October 2016 Featured Project – AMC NewPark 12
AMC Newpark, a newly constructed 12-screen theater in Newark, CA, is the latest installment in the future of marketplace consumption. Borne from the “Marketplace” concept, which incorporates many self-service options such as popcorn, soda, and candy as well as Made to Order food and Beverages, the AMC Newpark is a new kind of wholesome family entertainment.
All of this wouldn’t be possible without Vivian Company’s dedication and commitment to completing the self-service wonderland. Vivian functioned as a key vendor to AMC by providing all of the kitchen equipment including ventilation and walk in coolers and freezers. Vivian also produced all of the casework at the Bar, Concessions, Point of Sales counters, as well as the freestanding Box Office and Guest Services area. The Vivian team worked closely throughout the project with the architects and design teams to ensure the feasibility of the design could work in real world application.
Vivian was deeply involved in the project from the receipt of drawings to coordinating with the General Contractor and installers on timing of deliveries and installation to make sure that the project was completed as designed. This included the coordination of deliveries and installation of all casework, kitchen equipment and the start-up of all the refrigeration equipment, beer and soda systems.
The end result can be seen in the photos: a beautiful, functional, and welcoming lobby and concession area. And, check out that amazing bar! The spectacular sight, and even more enchanting presentation, would definitely not be possible without the tedious hours and dedication of the Vivian Company team.
The next time you’re in the Newark area, this theater is a must see!
