Vivian Company recently received an exciting opportunity to partner with MotoMart on their home office. We were sent drawings for a new “Made to Order” concept that was to be installed their corporate lunch room. The goal was to trial new food options in-house first, so that they can roll out fresh and healthier menu options for customers in future locations. This also allowed MotoMart to “kick the tires” on the layout and equipment. Vivian was called on to provide custom casework, food service equipment and installation for this project. After producing shop drawings for MotoMart to review and approve, we began the production of custom casework, ranging from cabinetry to countertops. Additionally, we worked with various equipment manufacturers to supply specific equipment needed for this project. After all of components landed in our warehouse, we consolidated equipment and casework, and staged in delivery per MotoMart’s needs. Finally, we completed the installation of all. After everything was set in place, our team provided their employees training to properly operate the various equipment (Franke, Taylor, and Turbochef, just to name a few).

Vivian Company recently worked with major theatre chain AMC Theatres , along with Coca-Cola to complete their "Freestyle" installations within various theaters that included casework and lid/napkin dispensing options. See below for pictures of this project: As you can see, the lid/napkin dispensers can be installed up against a wall or freestanding in your lobby. We also created “rooms” in the back of the installations to house the support equipment and to keep it out of the view of theater goers. Recently, Vivian Company was approached by B&B Theatres to collaborate with them on a new build project, an upscale 7-screen boutique movie theatre located in Lee’s Summit, MO. Dubbed New Longview 7, this state of the art facility includes a full bar and concessions that we produced and installed. First, our team worked meticulously on their signature Marquee Bar area. Using a combination of rich plastic/metal laminates, with Cambria and Silestone products, we created a unique curved bar front with a large back wall with beautiful floating shelves. Additionally, we constructed elaborate towering columns made of poplar wood stained to match the Prestige Walnut laminate. We also provided a quite impressive concession stand complete with resin panel lighted blade structures that divided the POS areas. As requested by our client, we created a “suede” finish on the countertops which we were able to accomplish with a special polishing process to produce a unique look. Lastly, we completed work on several other areas, such as casework including their soda and condiment cabinets. Also, there is a very unique feature at this location, a fireplace located near bar. Vivian worked with designers to come up with the impressive casework surrounding the fireplace, clad with plastic and metal laminates. This is a real eye catcher as you enter the theatre. Vivian Company was given a great opportunity to team up with Milwaukee-based Marcus Theatres, the fifth largest theatre chain in the country. With their recent acquisition of Wehrenberg Theatres, the oldest family-owned and operated theater chain in the US, Marcus has been able to expand to 68 locations and 886 screens.

We were asked to partner with them to give their Des Peres, MO location a facelift. Specifically, the main objective of the project was to update it to today’s modern theatre standard. With our assistance, they were able to showcase all new concession casework that included a self-serve soda counter, self-serve candy gondolas, a freestanding self-serve ticket counter, and all new box office. Additionally, we provided their complete millwork package. We installed new trim and wall caps throughout all of  the auditoriums, corridors, lobby, and bar areas.  We also created an eye-catching bar area, with backlit countertops, made of onyx sourced from CA. It's quite the sight to see!

We worked seamlessly with Marcus Theatres, TK Architects, and general contractors  to ensure that all design needs were met and delivery/installation was managed.
